Senior Planet from AARP in San Antonio is hosting a live, interactive telephone town hall on Wednesday, June 22 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm CDT, to discuss digital inclusion and the importance of connecting older adults to the internet – in an affordable way. Panelists will also discuss the benefits of being a part of the online community, whether to stay in touch with family and friends, apply for jobs, look for social opportunities, adopt a pet, and more. This is the fourth in a series of tele-town halls designed to engage and inform the community on the inequities of digital access for older adults, the importance of changing the way we age, and the work happening at Senior Planet from AARP in San Antonio to keep older adults active and connected.

Anyone is welcome to participate in the town hall via phone or online. The event will be streamed on this page in English and Spanish. Registered participants will have the opportunity to ask questions live on the call and participate in poll questions. Participants are encouraged to pre-register to receive a phone call shortly before the event starts. Registration closes 24 hours before the event.
