OATS Wins Prestigious Telly Award

OATS has been named a 2024 Silver Telly Award winner for the video “Aging with Attitude and Gratitude" about the Senior Planet licensing program.

OATS is proud to announce that it has been named a 2024 Telly Award winner. The video “Aging with Attitude and Gratitude,” a short video about the Senior Planet licensing program, was selected for a Silver Telly in the category of Branded Content – Not-for-profit.

“Now more than ever, we are thrilled to recognize creators like you who are pushing the boundaries of creativity beyond the frame,” the Telly Awards announced in its official awards notification. “This is an incredible achievement! We received over 13,000 exceptional entries this year, and the winners represent the most innovative stories being told across all screens. As a Telly Winner, you are truly a standard bearer of excellence in our industry.”

The winning entry is a 3-minute video, produced by Sebastian Buffa with cinematography by Sam Radutzky, that features Norma (age 71) and Art Menard (age 73), a 47-year married couple that began offering free technology training classes for older adults at their local library thanks to the Senior Planet licensing program. They came across Senior Planet’s free online classes during the pandemic and saw firsthand how much it helped them stay connected using technology. When the couple heard about the launch of the licensing program, they knew that it would be a great benefit to their community.

The Telly Awards, founded in 1979, honor excellence and celebrate the best work in television and video across all screens. Telly Award winners represent work from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies and publishers from around the world. All entries are reviewed by a judging body of over 200 executives from television networks, production companies, global agencies, immersive content studios, and streaming platforms around the world, including Shutterstock, Marvel, BBC, Vimeo, Netflix, Runway, and Thomson Reuters Foundation.
