Kimberly Harris

As director of strategic initiatives at Older Adults Technology Services, Kimberly is responsible for the strategic development of OATS programs, partnerships, consulting projects and new initiatives including the geographic expansion of Senior Planet. She was formerly the director of programs, and had overall responsibility for the planning, design, and implementation of OATS program activities that directly support older adults, including the development of training curriculum, the programming at the Senior Planet Exploration Centers, and specialized program development for partner organizations.

Kimberly been with OATS since 2011. Prior to joining OATS, she worked in innovative educational settings and for international human rights-oriented nonprofits. Formerly, she was the US-based program director for a Holocaust education organization that used technology to connect thousands of European students with Holocaust survivors in order to document their experiences and build intergenerational connections.


A native of Denver, Colorado Kimberly has lived on the West Coast and in Europe, and since 2005 has called New York City home. She has an undergraduate degree in sociology and anthropology from the University of Redlands and an interdisciplinary master’s degree in humanities and social thought from New York University. When she’s not working, you can find her bird watching, hiking, playing the guitar, or around music and art.
