Kimberly Brennsteiner has overall responsibility for the planning, design, and implementation of OATS program activities that directly support older adults, including the development of training curriculum, the Senior Planet Exploration Center, and specialized programs for partner organizations.
Kimberly has worked in innovative educational settings and for international human rights-oriented nonprofits. Prior to joining OATS, she was the US-based program director for a Holocaust education organization that used technology to connect thousands of Austrian students with Austrian Holocaust survivors in order to document their experiences and build intergenerational connections.
A native of Denver, Kimberly has lived on the West Coast and in Europe and for the last decade has called New York City home. She has an undergraduate degree in sociology and anthropology from the University of Redlands and an interdisciplinary master’s degree in humanities and social thought from New York University. When she’s not working, you can find her bird watching, hiking, or around music and art.
