The Washington Post: “Old Hands, New Buttons: Pilot Program Teaches Seniors How to Use the Internet”

In this 2013 article, The Washington Post gave favorable coverage to the AARP Foundation’s $250,000 pilot program for teaching computer skills to older adults in the District of Columbia. OATS developed this program for the AARP Foundation and trained the volunteer instructors. “The goal of the program,” the Post wrote, “is to combat the isolation that can set in as seniors retire and their close friends and family members die, lose touch or move away.”
